Day 4 & 5 Medication Update

So, I missed a day. Last night we had some friends over and got into a bottle of amazing red wine. I think I had one glass on an empty stomach and fell asleep on the couch. Big sigh….

Day 3 & 4 — Strattera Update:

Took 20mg in the morning yesterday and today. Yesterday, I had several cups of coffee at the bakery with a dear friend. This morning I had an energy shot.

I still feel slightly groggy, but my friend pointed out that I am extremely hyper, so perhaps what feels sluggish to me, might just be what normal feels like to others. Perhaps, I’ve also become accustomed to flying around on anxiety, and the meds are working just as they’re supposed to.

I still haven’t picked up my Adderall prescription. I know that would balance out some of this grogginess, but I want to ease in to things.

I fell asleep last night around 10:00, but woke up at 3am. I was up for over an hour but fell back asleep blissfully, and woke around 7:30. I don’t feel very motivated this morning — probably some ill-effects from the wine rather than the Strattera.

Overall, I definitely feel less moody. I do not feel focused, which stinks. I want to write and have oodles of topics swirling in my head. I’ll get there — still trying to remain patient and roll with the journey.

Until next time………..

  1. “…still trying to remain patient and roll with the journey.” That’s definitely something I struggle with in my own life. Patience with oneself, I think, is one of the most difficult things to obtain. I wish you the best!
