It’s fun to look back and see progress, as well as the demons that still occasionally haunt us. I played a blog game tonight and read old posts at random.
Since I haven’t had much writing mojo lately, I decided to play and post.
I closed my eyes, tapped my tag cloud and up popped old posts.
Tonight the tag was ‘family.’
I also realized that I could stand to do some tidying and organizing, but shocker — I was in no mood for that.
I went to 2012, the first year I blogged, and closed my eyes again and bam, here’s the winner. Enjoy!

My heart goes out to you so much.
I have recently met a woman who has ***four*** children diagnosed with PANDAS. She seems like such a good person/loving mom like you. I’ll reach out to her and see if she would be able to email/talk with you about PANDAS and children if you would be interested. My email is dyane@baymoon.com. I know you keep strict confidentiality, so this can be discussed over email instead of here. I would let her know that you’re my friend, not “just a blogger”…because you’re a special blogger to me! No pressure, and I’m not sure where she’s at so I don’t meant to over-promise (I don’t think that’s a word, sorry!) but I felt compelled to let you know – just a thought! XOXOX

Thank you SO much. I’ll definitely email you. Overall, I’m really okay. I think we’re in the direction of getting some answers and his symptoms (if it even IS PANDAS) are SO tiny compared to what others go through. This has been going on for the past month and yesterday my stress levels were through the roof. Writing, exercising, getting my hair cut and good sleep have made things seem more manageable. Plus all my sweet blogger friends have reached out. It helps to be able to talk about it. I cleaned up my blog a little last night and am still doing so. I got rid of pictures and set certain posts to private. I struggle with how “out” to be. Lots of marriage stuff that makes things tricky. I’ll write more soon. Thank you again for reaching out and for being a friend. I’m so proud of you and all the work you’re doing to end the stigma of mental illness. I have been way behind reading blogs but very much want to catch up on yours. XOXO

I won’t test you on it! 😉 I’m behind on all my favorite blogs, and I want to catch up too! But first, I have to go shuffle through a stack of bills. Do dishes, laundry, that glamorous stuff…
